From the Airport: Following the direction “Centro” from Alameda das Comunidades, at the roundabout take the 2nd exit and drive to Avenida do Brasil. After 1.4 miles, on the second traffic light turn left from Avenida da República to Saldanha Square, and down Av. Fontes Pereira de Melo. At the end you will catch sight of Marquês de Pombal roundabout. Take the 1st right at the traffic light and turn right again at Rua Castilho where you will see InterContinental Lisbon.
From Santa Apolónia train station: Head into Avenida Infante Dom Henrique towards Praça do Comércio. After 0.5 mile take the 1st right at Praça D. Pedro IV and turn left into Rua da Alfândega. Arriving at Praça do Comercio turn right on Rua da Prata and at the end turn left arriving at Praça do Rossio. After passing the National Theater turn right and arriving at Restauradores follow Avenida da Liberdade to Praça Marquês de Pombal. Take the 2nd exit at the traffic light and right again at Rua Castilho where you will see InterContinental Lisbon.
